can create your own.
Similar to the perfect
picture frame for your
favorite photo, the
correct container is
essential.
Here's a fun and simple
way to create your own
custom container.

Materials:
·
1 paint pail measuring
7-inches tall x 8-inches
in diameter. Or, use an
empty can with similar
measurements.
·
Approximately 20 to 30
stems of pink or purple
larkspur
·
2 large rubber bands
from the newspaper
·
Two yards of twine or
raffia
·
1 bouquet of fresh cut
flowers. Match the
flowers to the color of
the larkspur selected.
·
Floral preservative
Floral clippers and
scissors
Directions:
Step 1
- Slip the two rubber
band over the empty
container, one high and
one low.
Step
2
- Cut the larkspur to
even lengths to the
height of the container.
Step 3
- Attach the larkspur in
a vertical "fencing"
pattern all around the
container by slipping
them underneath the
rubber bands.
Step 4
- When the container is
completely covered with
larkspur, hide the
rubber bands by tying
raffia or twine around
them.
Step 5
- Now fill the larkspur
covered container with
your favorite fresh cut
flowers.
