A Bouquet of Bunches
| Flowers help to create an ambiance at home not duplicated by other types of décor. That's why flowers can bring importance to any room. Many people shy away from flowers because of expense and inexperience in |
 |
| arranging them. However, many grocery stores and flower shops now sell moderately priced flowers, and if you know a few tricks of the trade you too can arrange flowers easily and stylishly. Many arrangements can be created with simple design techniques. One such method works especially well for wide-mouthed containers. These containers often present a problem, as flowers don†t easily stay in place.
The solution is making a floral tape grid over the opening of the wide-mouthed container and then inserting small flower bunches into the grids' holes. In just a few minutes the container is successfully and almost effortlessly filled with beautiful blooms.
This flower recipe is styled with white iris and white standard carnations. Monochromatic themes always deliver color harmony while petal texture and shape create interest. However, almost any flower variety or color scheme will work using this design method. Half the fun is creating your own personal floral style and working with what looks terrific in your space. |
