Spring Cleaning
While cleaning out cupboards and closets, think twice before pitching plastic storage wear or old containers that can safely hold water — these items make perfect vases for displaying pretty petals throughout the house.

Any container will do! - Before putting away the tea pot for winter storage, spruce up the kitchen by using it as a vase to hold fresh flowers. Rubber band several stems of the same or various varieties of you favorite flowers. Place them in a tea pot filled with water that has been treated with floral preservative and Viola!

While it may not seem like spring in many parts of the country, believe it or not, spring has officially arrived and that means it's time to freshen up the home. One of the best ways to "liven" home décor is adding fresh, brightly-colored flowers to the kitchen, bathroom, family room and don't forget the bedside table.
