They’re a little bit county, a little bit
rock and roll, a little bit bluegrass and a little bit soul.
They are the Warmed Over Boys and they are a little bit of
everything you like. Listen to the musical musings of the
Warmed Over Boys duo of Tom Evans and Gary Burnette and you
feel right at home
with
their eclectic and sometimes a bit eccentric
style. However
you describe their music, time spent with these boys will
set your foot to stomping and your smile to grinning.
Their mixture of styles includes newgrass,
rockabilly, old time and
blues, pop hits, folk, rock plus cover tunes from artists
like the Beatles and Buddy Holly. For good measure, they
drop in some original songs that make you want to hear even
more.
Any opportunity to catch these local boys
in action is an invite to set yourself a humming your old
and new favorites. And, if you can’t hum, there is always
that old standby –the air guitar. Whatever your choice of
instrument, don’t miss the Warmed Over Boys next performance
where you will enjoy the tunes you long to hear played with
a personal style that makes them new again.
