James Cliser

James Cliser, 60, of Watercress Road, Williamston, North Carolina, died Saturday, December 22, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Cliser was born on July 11, 1947, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to the late John Russell Cliser Sr. and Pearl Lillian Collier Cliser.

Mr. Cliser was a self employed plumber. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents, Clarence and Mary Collier.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia L. Cliser of Williamston, North Carolina; a son, Wade Cliser of Williamston, North Carolina; a daughters, Theresa Edwards of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Jeanne Bowen of Frederick, Maryland; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Ryan Funeral Home in Quinque, Virginia from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007, at the Lydia Pentecostal Cemetery in Stanardsville, Virginia.

The Walker Funeral Home of Williamston, North Carolina, and the Ryan Funeral Home of Quinque, Virginia, is serving the Cliser family.
