Rosetta T. Cole


Rosetta Taylor Cole, 68, of Stanardsville, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the University of Virginia Hospital.

She was born October 6, 1938, in Greene County to Harrison Taylor and Fannie Jarrell.

She was predeceased by her late husband, William Richard Cole, Jr.; one sister, Ruth Sholes and three brothers; Herbert Taylor, Jesse Lee Jarrell
and Cecil Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Michael Cole of Stanardsville; one daughter, Carolyn Sapp and her husband, Bernard of
Dadeville; three sisters, Mary Shifflett of Wolftown, Lutie Cave of Luray, Va and Fannie Shifflett of Hood, Va.; five grandchildren, Antonio Cole, Maribel Nava, William W. Sapp II, Kimberly Dawn Sapp, Bernard Sapp, Jr.; and four great great grandchildren, Antonio Rodriquez, Alejandro Nava, Alfredo Nava and Kristi Sapp.

Rosetta will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 PM , August 14, 2007, at Ryan Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard Sapp, Sr. and Rev. Jeffery Shifflett, and Rev.
Charles Clinedinst officiating.   Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery in Harrisonburg.

Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM.

Memorials may be made to New Generation Ministries, Belize Central America at P.O. Box 746, Stanardsville, Va.  22973.

The Cole family has entrusted Ryan Funeral Home with arrangements.
