Doris Jean Deane

Doris Jean Deane, 50, of Stanardsville passed away Saturday, December
29, 2007 at her residence.

Doris was born November 19, 1957 in Charlottesville. She was the
daughter of the late Bucky Edward Raines and Lola Shifflett Raines.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Marion S. “Sherman” Deane;
two daughters, Donna Jean Raines and Becky Raines Lamb; three sisters, Juraine Thompson, Madeline Shifflett and Wilma Bartley; two brothers,
Wayne F. Raines and Edward Raines, Jr.; and many other family members
and friends.

Doris was an employee of Hardee’s with 27 years of service.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 2,
2008 at Mt. Hermon Mennonite Church with Glen Heatwole and Eli Slabaugh
officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hermon Mennonite Church
Cemetery.

The family will receive from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 1, 2008
at the Ryan Funeral Home.
