Helen V. Dunivan, 96, of Stanardsville went home
to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
Helen was born November 13, 1915 in Rockingham
County. She was the daughter of the late George
Fountain Frazier and Sarah Roach Frazier.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, Herbert L. Dunivan; her
son, Donald L. Dunivan; four sisters, Victoria
F. Frazier, Georgia L. Roach, Dora Frazier and
Virgie Frazier; two brothers, Edward and Dewey
Frazier.
She is survived by her daughter Margaret Smith
and her husband, Sherwood; six grandchildren,
Douglas Dunivan and his wife, Lisa, Steve Smith
and his wife, Ethel, Randy Smith and his
girlfriend, Connie, Dana Smith, Jan Walton and
her husband, Shannon and Donna Dunivan; eight
great grandchildren; two great

great grandchildren; four step grandchildren;
one daughter-in-law, Janice Dunivan; one
brother-in-law, Rev. Ellis Roach; one nephew,
Lebert Roach; four nieces, Janice Lamb, Joyce
Sherrill, Doris Deane and Carolyn Sue Shifflett;
and many other family members and friends.
Helen was a member of Nortonsville Pentecostal
Holiness Church. Helen was a faithful servant to
the Lord for over 60 years.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00
P.M. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Ryan
Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail,
Ruckersville, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M.
Sunday, January 22, 2012 at
Nortonsville Pentecostal Holiness Church,
Stanardsville

with Pastors Frank Chapman, Rodney Olinger
and Ellis Roach officiating.
Interment will follow at
Holly Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Sherwood
Smith, Douglas Dunivan, Steve Smith, Randy
Smith, David Deane and Oliver Morris.
