Ellie Jarrell Eppard

Ellie Jarrell Eppard, 82, of Stanardsville passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008.

Ellie was born on April 7, 1925 in Madison County. She was the daughter of the late Edward Jarrell and Henrietta Shifflett Jarrell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Eppard; two brothers, Russell Jarrell and Samuel Jarrell; three sisters, Ophelia Gentry, Fannie Shifflett and Dorothy Jarrell.

Ellie is survived by two sons, Robert W. Eppard, Charles R. Eppard and his wife, Judy all of Stanardsville; one sister, Evelyn Eppard and her husband, Retus of uckersville; one brother, Tommy Jarrell and his wife, Helen of Wolftown; eight grandchildren, Teresa Quick, Troy Eppard, Travis Eppard, Jessica Lam, Bradley Eppard, Tracy Howard, Holly Eppard and Jeffrey Eppard; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces,
nephews and numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Ryan Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Holly Memorial Gardens with Charles Shank officiating.
