Rosa Lee Mallory

Rosa Lee Mallory, 66, of Charlottesville passed away February 12, 2008 at a local nursing home.

Rosa was born May 10, 1941 to the late Zirkle Holmes and Dora Brock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, David Brock; two sisters, Elsie Carpenter and Peggy Massie; mother-in-law, Frances Mallory; one granddaughter, Michelle Parrish.

She is survived by her husband, James Mallory, Jr.; three sons, Ralph Mallory, Chris Mallory both of Charlottesville, James L. Mallory, III of Lynchburg; two brothers, Glover Brock and Carl Lee Brock both of Charlottesville; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Brock of Stanardsville and Teresa Brock of Charlottesville; two sisters, Annie Brown and Betty Brock both of Charlottesville; 12 grandchildren, including Justin and
Kierrah whom stayed with her; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Rosa was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She was a skilled homemaker and everyone enjoyed her cooking. Rosa was employed by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Powell and Pat Peyton for many years.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2008
at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Harrison Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
