Lester Lee Morris

Lester Lee Morris, 79, of Free Union passed away August 28, 2007 at his home.

Lester was born August 3, 1928 in Free Union. He was the son of the late
Henry and Josie Morris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Lester
Morris, Jr.; 6 sisters; and 5 brothers.

Lester is survived by his wife, Bertha "Lee" Morris; two sons, Al Morris
and his wife, Ruby of Earlysville and Rick Morris and his wife, Aimee of
Greene County; one daughter, Sharon Faye Snyder also of Greene County;
three sister-in-laws, Winnie Tulloh, Eleanor Morris and Marie Morris; 6
grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and
friends especially special family friends, Mitch, Cindy, Bryant and Becky
Tichner of Albemarle County.

Lester proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Panama. He was
retired from the Monticello Dairy. He enjoyed coin collecting, antiques
and watching sporting events.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 30,
2007 at the Ryan Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 31, 2007 at
the Ryan Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Frank Chapman officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family welcomes flowers however, contributions may be made in Mr.
Morris' memory to Hospice of the Piedmont, 2200 Old Ivy Road Suite 2,
Charlottesville, Virginia 22903.
