Nellie Blye Pack

Nellie Blye Pack, 78, of Ruckersville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2008.

Nellie was born in 1929 in Indian Head, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late John House Winters and Nellie Blye Lee Winters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Holcomb, Louis Alexander, Harold Pack; three sisters, Mabel Mullen, Virginia Broadwater and Anna Watson Cantrell.

She is survived by her sister, Joan Gray of King George, Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

After living and working most of her life in Hyattsville, Maryland, Nellie moved to Ruckersville, Virginia in 2004. She spent her final years as a resident of Evergreene Nursing Facility. Nellie was a friend to everyone she met. “Miss Nellie” will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Ryan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are given to the Victim Witness Program, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 10005 Spotswood Trail, Stanardsville, Virginia 22973.

Ryan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
