Robert S. Roman
Robert Stephen Roman, 69, of
Ruckersville, Virginia passed away suddenly on
Wednesday, September 26,2007 as a result of a traffic
accident.
He was born on June 3, 1938 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Robert was the son of the late Stephen and Carmella
Champ Roman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by one brother, Raymond Roman; his brother-in-law,
Robert Luneau; his sister-in-law, Barbara Luneau.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 46 years,
Aline Roman; three sons, Steven Roman and his wife,
Susan of Alton Bay, New Hampshire, Timothy Roman of
Enfield, Connecticut, Ryan Roman and his wife, Amy of
Ruckersville, Virginia.
He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Mark Timothy
Roman and Sarah Roman of Enfield, Connecticut, Jessica
Roman and Ryan Roman of Ruckersville, Virginia. His
brother and sister-in-laws, Marie Roman of Enfield,
Connecticut, Zack and Jean Dillard of Tucson, Arizona,
Ronald and Beverly Luneau of Madison, Connecticut,
Donald Luneau of Camden, Maine, Richard and Jan Luneau
of Vernon, Connecticut, Susan Luneau of East Hartford,
Connecticut. He also leaves many cherished
nieces,
nephews, extended family and countless wonderful
friends.
Robert was a devoted and beloved husband, father,
grandfather and friend. He enjoyed spending time with
his family and friends. His charm and sense of
humor will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic
Church and was employed by the University of Virginia
Art Museum.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Ryan Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday,
October 1, 2007 at the Shepherd of the Hills Catholic
Church with Father Alex Credo presiding.
