Michael Wayne Wood

Michael Wayne Wood, 50, of Madison passed away January 21, 2008.

Michael was born on December 21, 1957 in Faquier County, Virginia. He is the son of Edna Jenkins Wood and the late William Edward Wood, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Edward Wood, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Edna Jenkins Wood of Madison, Virginia; a girlfriend, Kathleen Weakley of Madison, Virginia; two daughters, Christina Lynn Wood of Stafford, Virginia, Nikki Beard of Danville, Virginia; two sisters, Linda Elliott of Madison, Virginia, Brenda Edwards of Culpeper, Virginia; one granddaughter, Cassidy Wood; and many other family members and friends, including best friend, Keith Orison.

Michael was formerly employed by S and N Communications.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Ryan Funeral Home with Eddie Deane officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
