Bicycle safety tips
Kids,
remember to:
Wear a safety
helmet.
Tell an adult if
something is wrong
with your bike.
Wear
bright-colored
clothing so others
can see you better.

Keep both hands
on handlebars.
Look left,
right, left for
traffic at stop
signs and driveways
before riding into
the street.
Obey traffic
signs and signals.
Ride on the
right-hand side of
the street, in the
same direction as
traffic.
Walk your bike
across busy
intersections.
When riding with
others, ride single
file.
Remember: ONE
seat, ONE rider!
Use proper hand
signals when turning
or stopping - see
below.
