The Woman's Club of Greene County is a nonprofit service
and social
organization dedicated to serving and improving both the Greene County
community and our members. Members participate in educational,
entertaining and information programs, projects, activities and outings.
The club is a 501-C3 non-profit organization and a
member of the United Federation of Woman's Clubs, the Virginia
Federation of Woman's Clubs and the Shenandoah District.
The Woman's Club meets the 2nd Monday evening of the
month. (The club does not meet in August.) Dues are $25 a year.
Membership is open to women of all ages.

Greene County Food Bank
The club
administers and funds the local food bank through the club
treasury and monetary and food donations from businesses and
individuals. |

Crafts Bazaar
The first Saturday of November, we hold our annual
bazaar. Proceeds fund the Scholarship Project. |

Scholarship Project
Each year, we award 2 scholarships: an academic scholarship
and a vocational scholarship. |

Spring Yard Sale
Annual Not your ordinary
yard sale benefits the Christmas Gift Project.

Children's Christmas Gift Project
Local business and individual
sponsorship and donations help us provide a new Christmas toy and book
for each needy child in Greene County

Other great activities, events and projects such as the
Female Athlete of the Year Award for the High School,
pre-kindergarten testing supplies, the annual Dinner Out and
annual pool party, Ice Cream Social and so much more. |
